Creating conscious change in Bali.
There are many reasons why joining an experience with Yatra Tours is the best decision you can make when visiting Bali. Very friendly and knowledgeable guides and the most beautiful experiences, all organized while keeping the values of Tri Hita Karana at the very center of the organization, to honor the essential harmony of spirit, humanity and Mother Earth. That’s what I enjoyed during my travels on one of the most beautiful islands I have visited in my life so far. One that I feel will hold that place forever.

Yatra Tours also supports people in the local community and environment. I learnt that about 10 years ago the team created an educational space for children living in the north part of the island. There in the mountain, Yatra Tours offers English classes and some playful activities for local children. I visited the area and met some of the children, who also gifted us some of the sticks to go on a jungle walk later that morning.

Also, the organization donates a mangrove tree to be planted in the south of Bali, in the Tahura Ngurah Rai area, for every booking. A couple of times a year they bring an offering of a bag of rice each to the local fisherman community and help them plant the mangrove trees. A wonderful way to support the environment and directly help local people.

There’s more and more need to aim at creating conscious communities, give back to locals, support local businesses, and give back to Mother Earth who supports us. This generates the ripple effects that spreads to the wider communities and environment around us. We are all interconnected, and Yatra Tours has this at its core, to encourage education projects and taking care of the environment whilst inspiring their guests to discover this wonderful island. I cannot wait to be back and discover more whilst empowering the locals and make the world around us a better place.
