Water is the most perfect traveler because it becomes the path itself when it travels. Sometimes we need to follow a path to undertake the most beautiful journey of our life. There are innumerable paths in Bali that will lead you to untouched places, enticing you to explore hidden secrets without & far from the commercial trails and if you push yourself a bit harder to really explore the secrets that Bali has hidden far away from the commercial tourists, you will discover these places.

ITINERARY

  • MORNING

  • FULL CIRCLE TREK

  • AFTERNOON

  • Your day begins with a pick up from your preferred location.

Travel time to our destination is around 1-1½ hours. That means an early rise and shine so that we arrive at our destination while the air is still cool and the morning mists still hang in the air.

We will make our first toilet stop closer to the trailhead at our private facility; the Sri Giri Mountain Cottage. After this, all calls of nature will be either using a squat toilet or in the jungle.

We will enjoy some light breakfast, fresh fruits and locally made food, whilst from the terrace, on one side you overlook the jungle, and from the other you can see on the horizon of Bali’s northern coast. A real spectacle for your eyes, setting up the tone for more to come.

Any belongings that you don’t need on the trek you can leave in the house, where it’s kept safe and dry, so you can get ready to get wet!

Once at the trailhead, we’ll have a safety-talk & get ready for an adventurous hike to totally out of the ordinary places, to discover natural and unsoiled spots and hidden waterfalls. Trekking poles will be made available to anyone who is in need.

We start the trek with a Balinese ritual at the nearby temple and then we set off for the adventure.

  • Full Circle’s waterfalls mesmerize everyone who joins the trek. Well-guarded by cliffs, these waterfalls are difficult to locate for the first time visitor. A few hundred steps down the cliff, the effort is well worth it once you arrive at the destination. The cliffs nestle around you, while the sky opens overhead and the waterfall dramatically appears to flow and emerge from the sky.

You can stand and observe the water neatly flowing down and making a narrow stream inside the cliff. This place is comparatively cooler and offers an immense sense of peace and tranquility.

Sunlight sparkles on the waterfall and rainbows shimmer around you in the spray creating an otherworldly atmosphere Unlike any other waterfall in Bali, it does not flow into a river, stream or jungle, but cascades gently from the cliffs before disappearing underground. The river can be seen from above, whilst the waterfall can only be viewed once you have descended the stairs.

During the trek we will have plenty of stops to swim and shower in the waterfalls.

Refreshments will be served during the trek

  • Pack lightly and smartly. Items you don’t want to carry, can be safely left in Giri Putri Mountain cottage

Correct footwear is a must. Wear shoes that can support your feet under uneven terrain and which will help sustain a firm grasp on slippery rocks. Do not wear flip flops or sandals without straps.

Normal fitness and outdoor clothing. Wear a t- shirt that covers the shoulders. The reason is that we will enter temples and other sacred areas.

In the jungle you need to have either long trousers or socks that are covering the full length of your legs, as there are nettles that can give you an itchy sting.

You might consider packing a hat, mozzie repellent, a waterproof timepiece, a light, water resistant jacket, a small towel and bathing suit, sunglasses and a small, waterproof goody bag for wet clothes.
